International, a Singapore-based company was established in 2001 to sell
exquisite handicraft and life style products. It aims to introduce beautiful,
environmentally friendly, hand-made items to discerning customers around the
world.
Our Logo and Name
The Phoenix is well-known as the
queen of birds. This mythical bird has beautiful, long flowing feathers in
brilliant multi-color hues. The Phoenix is recognized for its energy, beauty
and grace. It is often associated with auspicious events and prosperity in
Asia. In the West, the Phoenix represents immortality and rebirth. When it
grows old, it would lay an egg before dying in a glorious burst of fire and
light. From its ashes, the egg would hatch a new, revitalized bird.
The name of our company, Phoenix Dreams, was
carefully chosen with a lot of thought. It represents the dynamic energy and
beauty of the glorious Phoenix. Our company hopes to soar like the mythical
bird and be a leader in the handicraft and life style industries. The Dreams in
our name can be used as a noun and a verb. As a noun, it represents the many
dreams that we want to build and turn into reality. It also fits with our motto
: - "Live All Your Beautiful Dreams". We hope that everybody, including
our employees, suppliers and distributors, would have beautiful dreams and live
them big. As a verb, it represents the hibernation of the Phoenix inside the
egg before bursting out in its glorious, fiery rebirth. It is when the Phoenix
dreams that it can plan and decide what it wants to achieve after it is reborn.
Our logo shows a red Phoenix flying in the clouds. The
auspicious red color is a reflection of the energy and dynamism of the company.
Its beautiful feathers form a circle, signifying the Circle of Life. It also
represents the globe, indicating our intention to sell our exquisite products
globally.
